What is kept
Wedmomentist keeps the names, wishes, and photos guests choose to leave in a wedding book, and the email of the person who created that book.
To slow down spam, the address a post was sent from is kept for one day and then deleted.
Who can see it
The book is not listed on Google. Anyone with the link can read it, unless the couple sets a code. Photos stay after the upload window closes. They are removed when the couple deletes the wedding.
A guest confirms they may share the photo and wish before it is added. Payments are handled by CHIP. Wedmomentist does not see the card number.
Removing your data
A guest can remove their own post from the same phone they sent it from: the post shows a “Remove my post” link. The couple can remove any post from their desk.
An organizer can delete their account from the desk, under “Your account”. That removes the login, every wedding, and every photo and wish in them.
To ask for a copy of your data, or for help removing it, write to hello@momentist.app. This is handled under Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
